sentence to another human? Would you be able to pull the switch, give the injections, put the noose on their neck? Shoot them?
How many really believe you could deliver that sentence? There are jobs out there available Ha ha ha ha But seriously i am curious? Who could do that and who would really take the job? Be honest?

If I had more faith in our judicial system, I could. I have worked in law enforcement for six years now. I see innocent people sentenced (see Duke rape case for an example) because the prosecutor does not care or sees a political advantage, I see guilty people go free all the time. Depends on how much money you can spend on your attorney.
Having said that if the courts worked properly, I would have no problem executing child kidnappers and those that murder children, serial killers, serial rapists, and major drug dealers. Sorry if you find that harsh, but you need to see what officers see. Dead kids from drug overdoses, murdered children and women, suicides from abuse and rape. Mangled bodies of families from drunk drivers that have stopped before (often repeatedly) and still driving. Yes, I could do it and sleep well at night.

I wouldn't have the heart. I know that I would not with certainty, since I once had a job at a slaughterhouse, and although I never killed anything, I know that I cannot. I felt uncomfortabe the whole time I was there. This doesn't mean that I don't believe that evil should not be punished. Just that the uncetainty it would make inside me is something I cannot handle.
