Don't!! green is ground, white is neutral, and black or red is hot or live. it sounds like the hot lead is broken off in the conduit, or someone who doesn't know the electrical code has played with the wiring. be safe, call in an electrician, especially since it is a bathroom and will be near water! it is almost always black to black, white to white, and green or copper to same. but it is never green to black! good luck, be safe!

It is odd for it to be green in color. But sure try it out if you cannot find any schematics on it.

You had better call an electrician before you burn the place down, or electrocute yourself...........
