Being oversensitive is about being insecure not personality

And yes it can be overcome!

A realy good tool kit for overcoming it is a book called
"The Courage to Heal Work Book" by Laura Davis
ISBN 0-06-096437-5

I honestly believe there is no such thing as being oversensitive. I have just had people tell me this because they did not want to acknowledge that they had said or did something hurtful. A large number of people out there like to joke around 24/7 and sometimes the lines blur for those of us who do not act/think this way. Over the years I have just learned to not take what they say as personally, but it still bothers me from time to time. Really I do not think you should try to change yourself because it is better to be a little sensitive than completely uncaring.

I am oversensitive too and very easy to anger.I think it can be overcome.Try not to take the things that people say about u so seriously and if some1 bothered u just let it go.Sometimes people say things that they don't mean. For example,u may have a friend and a close one ,but she can say words about u that she doesn't mean, but she is good deep inside. If u concentrate on whatever people are saying about u,u r life will be miserable.Just don't try to think about the things that bother u.
