I would safely bet that there has NEVER been a woman who actually enjoyed being raped. Rape is a brutal and degrading act perpetrated on a woman by a man who is trying to humiliate her and assume a power position over her. There is absolutely nothing sexy or romantic about it.
Yes, there are women who fantasize about "rape," but it is usually in the context of unbridled sexual lust in a man who just can't help himself - he has to have her. It's a relatively safe way for some women to enjoy a sexual encounter with an unknown man without responsibility - she was overtaken by this strong and insistent male.
There is no correlation at all between the two acts. Actual rape is a horrible experience that can scar forever and comments like the one allegedly made by the police officer are in the worst possible taste - just unfeeling and completely out of bounds. He should be held down and raped brutally so that he can understand the concept!

Put it in perspective!
Although I disagree with the tactic, many times cops have to try and determine how authentic a report is... An allegation of rape does not mean it fits the legal definition of rape. Look at the Kobe Bryant case as a prime example... The woman claimed rape but all the physical evidence and statements made by both the "victim" and the suspect indicated that it probably wasn't a rape. Most of it indicated that she voluntarily had sex with him and then afterwards decided she regretted her behavior.
My point is this. If she was raped and the cop was interviewing her, then his comment was innapropriate. But if she wasn't raped, maybe he was trying to determine that. Your question, on it's own merit doesn't reveal enough information about the rape...
But to answer the other part of your question is that there is a physical stimulus during rape...a stimulus that the mind cannot control. So there is some physiological "enjoyment" to the act...but most rape victims will assure you that they felt like they were dying...

The cop should be fired, no doubt. What happened to her was a horrible crime and should be taken seriously. The instinct is to say that there is no way anyone could possibly enjoy that. Don't misunderstand me, but it is not too uncommon for the body to betray itself. It's why I fully believe that a man can be raped as well. You can be restrained, whether by ropes or fear of bodily harm or both, and endure something that is dispicable and demoralizing, while at the same time your brain is interpreting certain things as pleasurable. It by no means lessens what you have been through, in fact it makes it worse. But nobody has a right to ask a victim a question like that.

this remark has been around for a long time, some maybe forty years ago, there was on local nyc televison a weather man, "uncle weatherby" or some such was the name, he drew little pictures to explain his weather report, do not remember his real name now, he made that remark on the air, at that time,it was really considered to be crass to say the least, and he was let go,from his position of many years, and all his popularity went down the drain in just a few seconds, for an inept remark, (about enjoying such, i doubt it,however, what the movies depicts, and it is certainly possible to have feelings, being confused emotionally, is part of the trauma of these incidences, where these physical feelings are brought about by a repugnant violent act, but to say over all enjoyment, i doubt it, but than again, i cannot speak for these people,

There are a lot of sick individuals out there. No, no woman would actually enjoy being raped and Yes there are a lot of a$$holeish cops out there. And as for the cop, maybe he doesn't have a Mother, Sister, Wife or Daughter and lets hope he never does.

Rape is usually understood to be a sexual experience that goes against a person's wishes. If one is resisting, then the fact that one is being 'forced' to participate removes the possibility of one 'enjoying' the experience since one cannot be forced to enjoy something they do not wish.
If I make you eat your beans, when you do not want to eat your beans (or do not like beans at all), how can you enjoy the experience? And even if you do like beans, if someone comes along and make you eat beans when you do not feel like eating them, the fact that they are forcing you to do something (taking away your right to choose when to engage in that behavior) creates animosity on your part towards being forced.
Imagine, if you will, being a heterosexual guy and another guy 'forcing' you to stand there while he sucked you off. Would you be able to stand there and 'enjoy it' or would you feel imposed upon, degraded and/or humiliated? Just because an act can be 'pleasureable' for a person does not make every such act pleasureable.

That answer is extraordinarily undesirable, although that's genuine. there will be no information now so all which will ensue if she comments is that she would be ready to be raked over the coals approximately whether she is mendacity and how she could have contributed to the rape (as though that happens). the foremost reason i think of ladies in many situations do no longer record is by technique of the fact they're emotionally traumatised and that they understand finished properly that they are going to be accused of inviting it on themselves. Police are required to objective to shake you as much as attempt to weed out everyone who's mendacity. regrettably that has the effect that rape sufferers, who've already been bodily assaulted, now get verbally assaulted by skill of the police. And if the police have self assurance you, and IF there is adequate information to even get it to a courtroom, probability is the perp gets off or gets an somewhat easy sentence because of the fact judges do no longer take rape heavily.

Rape is the name of a terrible crime. Nobody enjoys being victimized. It should not be belittled or laughed at. Unfortunately the word, Rape, is also occasionaly a lie told by some who don't want to take responsibility for their actions.

Some rapists justify themselves in court saying that their victim “enjoyed it”… the question the cop asked, was looking for a post-act form of consent.

The relevant fact is not the possibility or otherwise of enjoyment but the fact that such a remark is completely "out of order". So, I hope the policeman's name and number were noted and that he was reported. Today's police force would like to pride itself on a sympathetic approach to rape victims - this is hardly that!
