Yes it is easily done but you can prepare yourself for it. If you prepare yourself with notes or practice key answers then you can trick yourself into answering the question despite the fact that your body is coming up short. The initial problem is that you are being asked about something that you do know about but the pressure is shutting your brain down. So by coming up with an answer that gets you talking you can ease this problem and once talking calm down enough to remember what to do. You could probably answer any question if you were drunk so why not when you are sober. Try repeating the question that you are asked and then comes your pat answer then once the initial shock of answering is over with you can proceed to speak on the topic at hand. ex. The interviewer asks you to answer a question on how you would deal with an unruly child in the classroom. Your response," How would I deal with an unruly child in the classroom." Pat answer is " Having discipline in the classroom is essential to learning and is a team effort with you and your principal", now this gives you time to think more about the answer you want to give. " As a team with the principal, other teachers and the parents of the child I would ....................and so on. Since you have now started to answer with the pat answer and continued on somewhat whatever you say from there is going to be along that line of team work. If you prepare for the types of questions that you are going to be asked then you can overcome the problem of going blank at the time when you want to appear as the person with some sort of a logical answer. Good luck,
