I'm very excited. The club desperately needs investment to move forward. We need a new stadium as 45000 fans compared to Arsenal & Man Utd is not enough.
The club has put a lot of thought into this. Remember last year when we were linked with a 80+ million pound takeover? The club wouldn't sell up. To my knowledge money will be made available for the new stadium & to buy new players.
On the pitch - I hope money will be available to buy new players. I do not want an unlimited amount like Chelsea have because that will mainly attract glory hunters like Shevchenko & Ballack. The difference will be that we can buy players like Simao instead of Pennant. Liverpool will carry on getting players that actually want to play for the club because of the great tradition. Chelsea do not attract such players.

This appears to be the wave of the future in English football, particularly because there are now fans of squads all over the world. Chelsea is owned by a Russian, Manchester U is owned by an American, etc. etc. Plus, since Liverpool is currently a tick below those two in terms of money available to spend, this may be the way to put them in contention for the Premier title the next few years.

I don't know much about football, but as I work in horse racing I can honestly say that Sheikh Mohammed (ruler of Dubai and the driving force behind the Liverpool take-over) has been one of the best things to happen to the sport.
He maintains the utmost interest in his racing and breeding stock and no expense is spared in his quest to achieve perfection - he paid $11million for an unraced yearling last year.
This philosophy should benefit the club immensely.

I don't think there should be any room for racism here, saying that foreign owners anger you. I don't think it's as exciting news as some russian buying Chelsea as I knew it was for the better. I think we're yet to see whether it's good or bad for Liverpool so let's just wait to see what happens with the money and buying side of things.

Cautiously optimistic. As in all these things there will be issues to be carefully considered, and nothing is perfect (as Chelski have discovered), and these things will always have strings attached. But if we can get money for a couple of players, and develop a new stadium (without sharing it with Toffees) then I hope it will be good for us.
Did you hear about a rival bid yesterday from an American baseball magnate? There will be some shenanigans I think!

This can only be good for L.F.C seeing as the take over bid includes funds for a new stadium and transfer funds!
