I'm a big cure fan and i'm always searching for covers to Cure hits. Pls give me some examples of cure covers and by which band/artiste..
It doesn't matter whether its a big hit or a sleeper or even a crap cover.. I don't mind cos i will judge them for myself.

In 2005, when the band performed the song at several European festivals, the lyrics to "Killing an Arab" were changed to "Kissing an Arab." When performed at their Royal Albert Hall show on April 1, 2006, the lyrics were changed to "Killing Another." Smith also sang a whole new opening verse for the song.
"Killing an Arab" was covered in 2003 by Sydney rockers Turpentine as a protest against the American invasion of Iraq.
A cover version of "Boys Don't Cry," performed by Nathan Larson, was used as the title song of the 1999 film Boys Don't Cry.
"A Forest" has been re-recorded a number of times by The Cure. In 1990 the track was re-recorded and remixed as the "Tree mix" on the band's "Mixed Up" album. It was redone for the second time on the "Join the Dots" box set this time remixed by Mark Plati and featuring Slick Earl on guitar. Robert Smith supplied vocals for a Blank & Jones cover version in 2003. The song has also been covered by Nouvelle Vague on their first album Nouvelle Vague.
"Let's Go to Bed" was covered by New York pop band Ivy for their 2002 album "Guestroom". The video for the cover was shot, showcasing New York streets and coffeeshops. The Smashing Pumpkins' James Iha, known for his love for and his own covers of The Cure, appeared briefly in the video.
Ben Folds included a cover version of the song "In Between Days" on his 2005 EP Speed Graphic and the 2006 LP Supersunnyspeedgraphic.
French recording act -M- recorded a cover version of the song "Close to Me" on his album Je Dis Aime in 1999. The lyrics were translated into French, with the exception of the words "close to me" which were kept in English.

Dinosaur Jr - an uptempo cover was featured on the CD reissue of the 1987 Dinosaur Jr album You're Living All Over Me.
Katie Melua - 2005 album Piece by Piece. Her cover appeared at the beginning of the film Just Like Heaven.
