we dont know much about the universe, maybe the earth is just a living cell in a life form (the universe) with trillions of other cells and we are just keeping it alive maybe cells like mars are ie cancer cells

thats my story and im sticking to it.. always found that its odd that the universe is so much like cells and after all you have to be somewhere i mean you cant be in a place that there is no place right?

you gotta know something.
in the universe, no cell (according to your concept) interferes with the other and damages its functioning i.e., as the cancer cells disturb the functioning of normal cell.
so, may it be mars or pluto or venus none is a cancer cell

That is at best a weak metaphor.
Where are the organelles?
Do planets divide like cells into identical daughter cells?
What is the nucleus and genetic material?

well my science teacher has said something similar: our universe may be just a small part of a much larger universe, just like we are the universe of those tiny creepy bugs that live in and on us.
