why is it that a song about not feeling like dancing makes me want to get up on the table and dance my little legs to stubs??

Because that is what the song is written for. It is to try & make you feel like dancing & having fun as the tune is so catchy! It's kind of cool really!

It's the irony of this very funky number that it's about not wanting to dance, when really you do. Or does that make it a paradox?

Because it's a fab song.
In 1989 there was a song called 'Sit Down' by James, and students used to actually sit down on the dancefloor when it was played, whilst the rest of us used to dance away quite happily.

properly what you may attempt is like purely blast music you may dance to in a room with a reflect, and close the door. Then purely dance although you want and word what seems good and what doesn't... it is probably a shyness difficulty that you'll be able to get over in case you purely get used to dancing. Or in case you nonetheless do not understand like the thanks to leap, purely purchase a number of those "the thanks to leap in 3 straight forward steps" DVD's or maybe purely watch videos with somewhat dancing and replica and learn that. wish that permits!
