I think it's awesome! and no one deserves it more then these two guys Tony Dungy in my opinion is the most respected well rounded coach in the league and Lovie Smith having been Dungy's assitant in Tampa proves that Lovie learned from the right man and is a similar mold of his former mentor.

Why can't they be Two Head Coaches. Look I understand when it was mentioned that Tomlin will be the Steelers first Black head coach, I mean a 74 year history and the "Rooney Rule" makes it sound a little intresting. Although he is only the third coach in 38 years which is what seems to be getting mentioned now. That is how it should be. I mean ok if one of the coaches was a Martian and we wanted to mention he was the first Martian head coach I could see bringing it up. Then you drop it. This just proves that people seem to have NOTHING to talk about in this Superbowl and PROVES the Superbowl should be this week. Remember when the Superbowl was the last week of January.

Black Trifectar?
Don't even make this a Racial issue, that is so annoying. Take this into account, Morgan Freeman, one of the finest Black actors of our time does not like the fact there is a "black history month."
What really tops it off is that whom ever choose February as "black history month" choose the SHORTEST month of the year. Thank GOD!! Get off the racial kick, EAT IT, cause that comes out brown out of your rear end too!!
P.S. Want to push the race card on me? Where is White History Month? There is no nationally reserved & recognized month for Whites & caucasians of American history!! And Don't pull that "the other 11 months of year" Bull-Sh*t. cause most whites, Mexicans, Native Americans, etc just don't give 2 cents if there is or not.
Trifectar....Give it up....Blacks are more racist and against there own than whites are!! I hear more Blacks use the "N" (*****/****** etc) word than whites. I'm not racist, it's just something I've noticed in the many places I've lived & traveled to in my 30+ years of life.
Take this into account too, Rex Grossman & Peyton Manning are White, Two White QB's Playing in the Superbowl.
If you feel I am insulting you, you are insulting and racistist toward whites with your Black Tifectar.
GET A LIFE!!

I dont think it matters the colors of the coaches and I also dont believe in celebrating black history month Blacks want equality then dont give them teir own month to try to make them special. Blacks are the same as everybody else, color makes no difference

i think that anyone who condones the classification of people based on how they look is quite simply a bigot (i.e. 'black' history = bigotry).
Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith got to where they are because they are good at what they do. Their color has nothing to do with it. Why screw up their achievements with your encouragement of classifying people and therefore furthering bigotry and division.
