Also why didn't Senator Henry Lodge the league of nations? Was it also due to isolationism? And why didn't some people accept the peace treaty with Germany? In general, why didn't the US want too much to do with other countries after the war?

The League of Nations was set up without any diplomatic ties to the actual happenings of governments around the world. Although the easy answer is to say that the US didn't want to be apart of it out of isolationist fears, the reality is much more complicated. The US did want something, but they were worried about a poor charter leading to chaos, rather than stability.
As for the treaty of Versailles, the US argued against the strict punishments England and France wanted to put on Germany.
In general, the American public was sick of war. Most felt that they entered and fought a war with an ally, and that the war itself was pointless. Thus, they were not too eager to get involved in Europe. But you will see that they were involved in other areas of the world, Asia for example. The attack on Pearl Harbor was a result of their involvement in Asia, something Japan didn't like.
I hope this helps.

It was not society that rejected the league of nations, it was the isolationist faction in the US government that rejected it.

It was not so much of a peace treaty as it was a decision to punish Germany.

We thought that the oceans protected us from the rest of the world. In 1918, it did.
