Scientists have found a better way which is quite accurate unlike the chinese lunar calendars though it requires talking to a medical professional and working things out about your body first but its proven to be quite accurate for whether you want a boy or girl, check the link below

Mine was correct...woohoo! A boy to please the Asian family! I wanted a girl, but I love my child no matter what. Just keep in mind that there's only a 50/50 chance of being right or wrong. You're better off just flipping a coin.

it is absolute nonsense, the sex of a child is purely a matter of chance, but then again chance is subject to the law of large numbers..which I think is another way of saying there is a 50/50 chance (just like the weatherman,,there is a 50% chance of rain..he can't loose)

I would see it as for fun, because hormonally, genetically, some women are not able to have boys or girls, just one or the other.
