First, I love the Question!
Maybe you should just watch something that's more serious . Like Hannity and Combs. Now there's a couple of arrogant individuals. Oh maybe Rush Limbaugh is more of what your looking for.
The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, are two shows that I personally love. Stephen Colbert, of The Colbert Report, is much more arrogant than John Stewart. Which for me makes the show just that much more entertaining.
These shows have a loyal following and for those of us who are clearly God Fearing Christians, we cannot, and will not, be swayed by you Liberal Heathens to abandon our morals. We will not stand by and watch you bash these programs. We hold you accountable for trying to lead hundreds if not thousands of good people away from good wholesome TV programing and from trying to do the right thing. We will not be swayed.

Its a act. Plus John Stewart has had the Daily show for a long time. You'd be arogant to.

Because it is funny - sometimes at least. Yes, John Stewart is a conceited, smarmy, self-involved jack@ss whose grip on the facts is occasionally more than a tad tenuous. But he's also smart and, yes, funny. Just don't make the mistake of ever confusing it with real news.
