Brokeback was an amazing movie. It's a shame so many people got worked up for nothing. Out of all the people I heard mention this movie after actually seeing it, only two didn't like it. I think the story is slightly cliche in its formula but it is portrayed in a very creative way. Going from a 50 page story to a 2+ hour movie is a feat in itself, but actually making it good is a whole other story.

The shirt thing was sad - yes. But I was disappointed by the movie as a whole. There was so much hype building up to it that I just kinda expected more from it.

granted the shirt thing was sad, but the movie was really not good at all. Boring as all hell. What was sad, was that I spent money going to see it, now that is the real tragedy.

Personally I thought it was a lousy, boring movie. The idea might have been okay had it taken place 100 years earlier. As it was, they all just seemed like a bunch of loosers, too chicken sh*t to live their own lives and be happy.

It was a good movie, and sad. Kinda wished it was more about the two guys and not like the parents and wives and kids and all that.

I thought it was a great movie..not necessarily a gay movie but more of a love story.--of a love that couldn't be accepted by society...people my age all lived through those times...
yes, the ending was sad.

OMG No!

That movie took soooooo long to get to the point... too drawn out!

If I was rating it ... it would only get 1 1/2 stars!

(Boys Don't Cry............ now that is a good movie!)

This movie is terrible, it has no artistic value, and poor psychologicall character description, typical commercial
movie, just like Titanic.
