A while ago I saw some dry brown spots in my pantyliner. What does this mean? My menstruation ended in january 15 2007. I had anal sex during the 4th day of my period. yes only anal sex.

This is normal. Sometimes after my period (even up to 2 weeks later) I would get some brown discharge in my panties. I went to my dr. & he said its normal because not ALL the blood comes out during your period... it stays inside of you & rots (I know its disgusting) but it's true. Think about it, old blood, sitting inside of you for a week?? Not only will it be brownish-blackish, it will sometimes have a foul odor. It should only happen once or twice though. If it happend more than that go to your doctor & let him know about the anal sex too. TRUST ME HE"S HEARD & SEEN WORSE!

Since you threw in the part about anal sex, I'm tempted to say that it may have something to do with that. Not every month, but once and awhile I have weird brownish stuff that comes out days after my period is over. Basically, for me, it's 'leftover' blood/whatever that didn't fully come out during my period. It's totally normal when it happens to me.

maybe it was rough and caused some bleeding?
