ashamed to have to admit i usually am doing the teasing but only in a playful tone never intending to hurt the person I'm teasing

Well i find it better to tease in a group because then your never the person being teased. I wish i had more insight on that question.

Im the one always being teased because im the youngest of a huge joint family...and my bf joins in a lot,But its all silly teasing so its all good.Besides when it gets too much i just pretend to be very upset and everyone bends over backwards to make me smile again.

I don't tease people often. Just my sister, we tease each other equally, but she is far away, so we have to do it by phone. It is done "nicely" though. Never anything really mean.

Neither, i think people who tease people are really the 1's who have low self esteem. They need to put other people down tp make themselves feel better.
