When i had a miscarriage. I started off with brown blood when i wipped and continued over a week to red blood. Not very much and no pain. On 7th day i had a spasim type pain and then i passed clots. I felt no pain.
Every miscarriage is different. Miscarriage does not always mean lots of blood and lots of pain. It depends how far along you are.
You may be having a threatened miscarriage. Although the clots dont sound good they can be other things. Also blood does not always mean miscarriage.
If you cant get to ER then put your feet up and relax. If bleeding get a lot worse then call an ambulance.
Hope everything works out.

Hey,
If you haven't already gone to the ER. Well, I had the same thing happen to me. I didn't know I was pregnant at the time. But I had Endometreosis and was not suppose to get pregnant.
( i have two kids now) I went to the Doc and he said that it was just the scar tissue coming out. Miscarages are very painful but if you are not having any type of pain I wouldn't worry about it to much. But I would still go to the ER as soon as you can. It will help you understand and plus if you want this baby I would be in the ER anyway. Even if I new it wasn't anything to serious. I really hope it isn't anything serious and if it is good luck and what ever outcome you may have IT HAPPEND FOR A REASON.
Gods plan.

Hi Lauren,
I am 20 weeks pregnant and have had bleeding right through my pregnancy starting from 6 weeks which was implantation bleeding, so hopefully it is just something similar. I would also suggest going to the hospital right away, Not only to see if everything is ok with bubs but if you are bleeding they need to check you out. I have had to go to the hospital just recently with bleeding, i was worried they would think i was being paranoid or silly but they said they would have thought i was sillier to have not come in.
Good luck
I just read your post about not being able to get to a hospital/Dr If you start bleeding heaps you will need to go because of your own safety, even if it is in an ambulance, if your not bleeding to badly i guess you could just keep an eye on it for now and rest and see a DR tommorrow first thing. Ring the ER and see what they say they will put you onto at least a nurse and can give you the best advice, they will tell you if you have to come in or not.
Again good luck.

Lauren,
It's possible, but if you are miscarrying, you will have horrible cramps. Worse than the worst period you have ever had, probably. You will have lots of "fresh" blood, and you'll go through pad after pad.
In all honesty, if you ARE miscarrying, there is nothing the ER can do about it. There isn't much one can do about stopping a miscarriage - especially so early on in the pregnancy.
It's also not too unusual for one to bleed a bit here and there during pregnancy. It's not weird for it to happen at around 6 or 7 weeks. I bled for a week and a half then, and my son is now 12 years old.
Try not to worry about it too much. If you start cramping badly, and bleeding very heavily, you will need to go to the ER or to your doctor...not because they can save the baby, but because they should do a D&C to make sure everything has cleared out of your uterus. If "material" is left behind, it will cause an infection. So you'd be going for YOU, not for the baby.
I hope, for your sake, that you aren't miscarrying. Best of luck to you.

Although at this early stage in a pregnancy there is nothing that can be done if you are having a miscarriage...you need to go to the emergency room. The doctor can examine you and if you have not miscarried you may need to go on bedrest. It is too soon to really hear a good heartbeat so blood work compared to your previous blood work would be one way to tell.
And don't forget that sexual intercourse and a pelvic exam if done by your physician this early in a pregnancy can cause some bleeding too.

Hi Lauren,
Everyone has given you pretty good advice and I won't add a whole lot to it. Except to say that I've been down that road 6 times and each was lost prior to the 11th week. And most started out with the bleeding.
You have been urged to go to the hospital and seek immediate medical attention. Please head this advice...This bleeding could be something small and minor OR it could lead into hemorrhaging--which happened to me on the 3rd one, I think. It required immediate attention and it was very upsetting and frightening for me. Go ahead and get yourself into a nearby hospital. I'm really sorry to hear of your troubles.... But if you haven't gone already....GO! Go now....

It could be one of two things sweetie... One could be if the Dr used any instruments like the one you would use in early pregnancy to detect a baby. If anything was inserted into the vagina then it could be the fact that it has punctured the wall or something similar. It could also be what they call spotting which happens sometimes in the early stages if the blood clots are dark brown or light brown in colour I am sure there is no need to worry. However if the blood clots change colour to bright red please seek medical assistance immediately.

I'm very sorry, but it does sound like you're having a miscarriage. I would call your doctor now and be prepared to go back in the morning. If you start passing softball sized clots, running a fever, or if you have unbearable cramps, you should probably go to the ER tonight.

FIRST THING IS TO RELAX!!!!!!! LAY DOWN GET YOUR FEET UP, HAVE YOUR B.F. CALL YOUR M.D. WHICH THEY ARE REQUIRED TO BE AVAILABLE OR HAVE SOMEONE ONCALL 24/7. THIS IS A REASON TO MAKE A CALL TO YOUR M.D. AFTER HOURS.. IF IT WAS INFACT A LTL. CLOT, IT COULD BE A NON-LIFE THREATING THING CALLED FIBROIDS WHICH ARE NOT UNCOMMON IN PREGNANT WOMEN( PLS. NOTE I AM NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSSIONAL SO THIS IS ONLY MY THEORY) PLS. BE PREPARED IN CASE IT TURNS OUT THAT THIS JUST WASNT THE TIME TO BE A MOM YET.YOUR SO YOUNG!! I AM 43 YRS OLD AND JUST LOST MY CHILD IN MY 8TH MO. (#6) WHEN THE TIME ISNT RIGHT YOUR BODY OFTEN HAS A WAY OF PREVENTING HEARTACHE & TURMOIL IN THE FUTURE.. I HOPE THINGS WORK OUT!!!!

My friend went to the ER for this. They gave her 2 huge glasses of water and made her lay down on a bed and rest for a while, then they sent us home. The bleeding stopped. But you should still see a doctor. If you aren't going to though which it sounds like you aren't drink some water and calm down.
