I mean come on Horn has not given us any reason to keep him. How long is he gonna play up the groin injury?
Fred Thomas? My grandma can guard receivers better than his slow a5s! Enough is enough!

Fred Thomas and Joe Horn will both likely still be in black and gold next season. There are no rumors of Horn being traded, some dipshit reporter asked the question for no apparent reason and everyone is in panic mode now. Horn is still the best receive we have, age doesn't limit that position. Jerry Rice and Christ Carter are good examples. Before you start with telling me Horn isn't on that level.....Horn hasn't had a team around him like they did. Now that team is in place, and Horn was putting points on the board before his injury, so letting him and his veteran leadership go would be a huge mistake.

Thomas will be replaced as the other starting corner but can still contribute on special teams and in dime packages, so don't expect him to go just yet. I suspect another cover corner will be brought in through free agency, unless they find a gem in the draft ready to start his first year.

Fred Thomas is still on the team? I would have thought he would have been let go after the Chicago game and not even le tinto the locker room. I do feel bad for him but he was outclassed in both of the playoff games.

You got to cut Horn some slack. He is nowhere near he was in his prime but he still has value. He is fast and has good hands. If nothing else he will demand attention away from Henderson, Colston, Copper etc...

Also he was hurt for the good part of the year with a groin injury and those do take a long time to heal properly. If you rush back from that type of injury you have a good chance of making it worse.

I can see getting rid of Fred Thomas but not Horn. He can still play. And besides he is the vetern that will help out the young Recievers. You can't play up a groin injury. If you don't let that heal that would get worse and I'm willing to bet that he wants to play but hasn't been cleared by the team doctors, and Fred Thomas is a liability in the secondary.

I don't know why Da Bears has to use every opportunity to say something bad about New Orleans and the Saints. The Saints played well this year and they deserve respect for it. Da Bears is a racist jerk. I live in New Orleans and it is not a cesspool, it is a beautiful city full of hard working people and a great football team. There is more crime and people on welfare in Detroit per capita than in New Orleans. I think he is just angry at the world because he probably has a very small penis. GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!

I'll give you the Thomas thing, but Horn was the franchise until Brees, Bush, and 6th round pick out of Hofstra showed up. you've gotta keep him there. Maybe not as a number one anymore but a very solid number two.

Yes to Thomas, and what the hell are you talking about on Horn? He's still one of the top 15 or so wide recievers in the league, not to mention that he's the leader in the locker room.

Come on, give a little respect. One season doesn't make a dynasty. So many years of crap football in New Orleans and you jump all over players who stuck it out for 7 years when they finally make the playoffs. Savor it now because players are going to start leaving and playing with an organization with a decent owner.
