You have to admit Episodes I to III were horribly written. The evolution of Anakin Skywalker becoming Darth Vader was too deliberate, and Lucas went over the top like when Anakin killed the Younglings. It was too sadistic and overwrought since Darth Vader in Episodes IV to VI was just a comic book villain. I think an alternate version should be made.

I'm really split roads on this one. On one hand your right, No there not as good, there hardly even bareable. But you have to remember that the star wars movies were created during the late 70's. Its rare in this day and age to actually see a worth wild movie. I didn't think he did a great job. But for the way movies are created today he did ok.

I think he should just leave the entire franchise alone.. Everything that lucas has done post 1980's was awful. Just let it die with the original and pray he doesn't slice and dice them anymore.

I agree, but for different reasons. The violence with the sandpeople and the younglings was needed to illustrate the evil of the darkside and to also establish the depth of Anikin's love-and what he would do for it. But the movies were poorly written and didn't really have any of the sub plots or mystery of the older movies (Luke and Leas relationship, Vader's turn, death of emperor, and Han Solo and Boba Fett). It was all too liniar and lacked any plot twists. Maybe more about Fett or the Corelians like Han in general. And Darth's are supposed to be fearsome; Count Duku looked like someone's grandpa. The whole thing seemed rushed...

Lucas warned of these problems while writing them. he reasoned that the fact that the outcome was already known and that they were not going to have a happy ending would not be well received. episodes 1-3 had been made back in the 1970's and 4-6 had been made shortly there after, they would have been better accepted. Next time when the creator tells you they will not be as good, don't push them into it.

i've got have been given mixed thoughts approximately them. It grow to be truly exciting having new celebrity Wars video clips popping out, and getting to work out them in theaters for the 1st time (i'm 19, so I grew up on the old ones, yet for sure they have been old even then). although, they have been in order that disappointingly undesirable, that i assume he truly on no account could desire to have made them. they actually did no longer make clean many of the tale so some distance as i'm worried (or a minimum of exciting aspects of the tale). Plus, young babies now truly love the recent video clips... that's a shame, because of the fact they're merely no longer that sturdy. i attempted to instruct young babies I babysit for the old video clips and that they theory they have been truly boring. So unhappy!

the prequels suck. hard. the older ones were best. the only good thing about the new ones are the special effects and obi-wan.

Too sadistic? It wasn't sadistic enough.

The problems with the "prequels" were they were too childish.
