can cleaning your ears too much give you an ear infection?

im not talking about cleaning too deep or hard... just cleaning them too much.

I don't think it can give you an ear infection, but it can be bad. One time I was cleaning my ears too much, they got itchy and dry and just uncomfortable. I went to the Dr., he took one look inside my ear canal and told me that I was cleaning them too much. He said I had taken away all of the natural moisture and had dried out my ear canals.

Absolutley, you see we clean our ears b/c we get wax buildup inside of them and some itch so on and so forth, well that wax that we clean out serves as a protective agent to catch bacteria and all sorts of this from enter fully into the ear.
When you clean them thouroughly and too often, you are more suseptible to getting an infection. try maybe only 2 maybe 3 times a week, on cleaning your ears out, or try an (earwax candle) their amazing and should only be used 1-2 times a months depending on how impacted your ears are.
Now for an ear infection I like to let hydrogen peroxide sit in my ear and let it bubble (it tickles) but when the bubbling is finished turn your head over and let it drain out, it is truly amazing!!!

Maybe....if you're of the school of thought that Q-tips are bad for you. They supposedly push debris back into your ear. However, I am a big fan. Also, too much water may irritate...like swimmer's ear

Lay on your side and put a dropperful of 3% food grade peroxide, for cleaning and infection, let fizz till germs are dead
