Empire Strikes Back...

it had story..bite...and bark...every body paid...in pain...and by the end you were all hyped up for the return of the jedi...which of course was a letdown...but anyway...
a bunch of us left college...travelled dozens of miles by bus...came down to Boston...and joined the longest movie line I have ever been in. It was cool talking with all the cats we didn't know from other schools...and we were all Star Wars fans...guys and gals alike...
The experience left an impression on my memory...and the movie exceeded its hype...and then some...

as far as I am concerned...Star Wars ended with Return of the Jedi

Star Wars Movie V was the bomb.

Empire Strikes Back...it's the only movie to linger in my mind after like 3 years of watching it. Return of the Jedi was a let-down and it increased the goody value of Star Wars V by a few notches.

A New Hope, hands down. It was the only movie in the series that was complete. It wasn't bogged down by muppets (I'm talkin' to you, Yoda) and it didn't recycle anything to make it's point.

Plus, it was the first of it's kind (for me) when I saw it in the theatre at the ripe old age of 4.

People will say Empire Strikes Back to be cool, but they're wrong.
