With the melting of ice there will be a water rise in the oceans. It is happening now and people on the coasts will be moving inland.
Don't worry it will take an awful long time to melt all the ice covering mostly Greenland and Antarctica and it will never get high enough to cover inland. The major problem, ironically will be drier climates all over North America and Europe as well as other places.

The planet has been around between 4 and 11 billion years. Most if not all of that time something or other has always been poking up out of the water. I don't think any of us will be living long enough to worry about that changing.

If you still think seating will soon be limited on this planet you might consider moving to the mountains to beat the rush.
