If there was a god so cruel and un-omnipotent as to curse any of his/her/its/(and/or)their children with neglect, disease and genocide, does the god really exist? or is it just the worrysome creation of the primitive mind of the first humans?

God by all means is the most convincing theory for humans to leave out what we cannot understand. Since God is always compared to infinity we cannot disprove it. I certainly think there are powers greated than what we already know. The Creator. But it does not necessarily mean what we think as God.

Yes God exists. With our present capacity for thinking, it is not really possible to imagine a world without God. Whichever way you look at it, whether through evolution or any religion or animist beliefs, it is obvious that you cannot trace the history of the world or universe beyond a certain point, and that Starting point is God.

One of our problems on earth here is that no one really knows what God wants us to do in this world, or the best way to do whatever God wants us to do. However, there are a lot of people on earth who think they do know, and not only that, they also believe that they must persuade everyone else to join their beliefs, even by force... and that is one source of some of our problems on this earth.

Ah...another "if I were God I wouldn't let this, that, or the other happen because..."

You need to seriously consider how the universe would work if you were God, especially if your motivation was to create a Universe where Faith is an option.

Do you want to bestow "Free Will" on your creations, so that their choices have permanent and lasting effects on the universe, or are you going to follow them around like puppies, scooping up every wrong choice and blotting it out?

And do you really think that this is an original question? You really need to read Job and Ecclesiastes - as this question is neither original nor unanswered.

the whole purpose of God today in my opinion is to give us moral and life guides. I dont know about God being a figmant of some pre historic humans imagination tho I mean the universe is an unbelivable place is there nothing greater than us and atoms and the like ?????. organised religion does create divides and does cause hassle but imagine the planet without for example the ten commandments.... thou shall not kill.

Well I don't think it was the 'worrisome creation of the primitive mind...' more like the creation of latterday intelligent minds as a way of controlling our nature and instilling fear into us. The Ten commandments for instance could easily be written today by someone of moral and ethical character, without the need for religious texts to 'guide us' - if we need ancient babblings of so called apostles/old testament scribes to convince us its wrong to kill or steal, for instance, then what?

you have a factor mutually with your recommendations, am i able to share mine? faith is only created via people. for this reason it has basically existed basically one thousand years in the past and not the earliest situations. by way of fact people have been uncertain people and that they are abusing their unfastened WILL. people began in charge God for each thing while in actuality, it extremely is them who does the alternative. we are able to constantly ask education from God even though it remains us who makes the strategies. Why is God a he? sure, your thought could be outstanding or possibly by way of fact the bible says the 1st created guy replaced right into a male and that the bible calls God a He and additionally by way of fact the reality that he's named a FATHER makes him a HE. the colour wasn't precisely reported yet, as i've got mentioned, people assume issues and because they think of that Jesus is a Jew, he's no longer in basic terms a black guy nor a organic white guy. God loves us. We only lack slightly faith and function fairly some doubts by way of fact of influential people. i for my area understand people's critiques yet that does no longer imply it has to impression mine. I truthfully have my own ideals and that i'm believer. I propose, there is not any longer something incorrect with believing. i could somewhat be worshiping Him the place i will experience from air, the sunlight, everywhere than to worship some human sculpted stones.. i wish someway this spoke back your question. =)

yes God Exists.

The disease is just a way of remmebering God.
If you have no need Than did you remmeber someone?

If you get ill than it is true that You remmeber God because you have belive on that it is the God who have the cure.

And behold on
"God is only one. He is not the child of anyone else and nor have any child. He is alone and by himselfe. He is the only owner of this univerise. He is Allah it Single"

Listen GOD do exist. you will say prove it by some logical answer. so for your cofusion to disappear. i will tell you a story. once upon a time their was a philosopher who really didn't believe that GOD do exist and always saying that all things just appeared and made by itself no body is behind its creation and it all going by itself. All people knew that he is wrong but no one was able to satisy him. He liked to argue with other people on logical basis and made other people speechless.
One day when he was planning to go to another town. In order to reach the other town he had to cross the river and the only way to cross the river was by boat. so he reached to the bank of river and start finding the sailor (oarsman). sailor knew him. He came to Philosopher and start telling that when i came here today i saw an strange thing. philosopher asked what did you see. sailor said that i saw that trees cut and timbered themselves and from that wood boat made by itself.
Philosopher said : Are you mad how i can be possible, that this boat just made by itslef without anyone's intervention. i dont beleive in it.
sailor was a wise man he said: wow that you dont believe that this cant be possible that a boat cant made itself, there must be someone who have to plan and make it. so why you dont beleive in that worlds, stars, moons and all other cant be made by itself, they are planned and made by some super force who we all call GOD. He is one behind all these creations and all the systems of this vast universe is running on his laws.
Phiolosopher was amazed and agreed that he is right and he changed.
As far as your other issue is concerned that God is cruel because he gives disease and other problems to all creations. yes this is right that sometimes he gives problems and calamities to His beloved creations but not for the sake of disturbing them or it doesn't mean that he dont love His creatures. The only reason behind it that this world is a test place for every soul living on the face of it. He test us by giving different levels of calamities in order to test that who is worthy of rewards from him in the shape of heaven. Bigger the calamitiy bigger will be the reward. You would agree that for each achievements we have to struggle. Dont you know that even to get good marks in any class sometimes people dont sleep at night. They sacrifice their sleep (sleep is the right for every soul in order to work again with full strength) just for the sake of achievements. So how one can expect that they can reach into heavens easily and God will not going to test us that who is worthy of it and who is not. we have to sacrifice and suffer a little bit to reach there. If you keep yourself firm on this belief with patience you will find good place in heaven. And God says that every soul must have the goal and that is to reach to heaven. i hope you will understand.

What does it matter what I think about this?
What should matter is what God thinks of all of us asking each other about God, and worrying about human opinions of God, instead of us trying to actually seek God and get to know Him.
The Bible says that God is a "Jealous God", and that the "Fear of God is the beginning of all wisdom".

Be wise...

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?
