After 5 children I can tell you that it is safe to have intercourse with your wife. I was very concerned when I first starting having children also. The doctor reassured me that it was o.k. to make love.
I have found that it is during her time of pregnancy that you need to show her a lot of attention. Make her as comfortable as you can and communicate with her constantly. Ask her questions before, during and after making love to her. CATER TO HER.
Personally I would recommend that you try spooning. Have her lay on her side as you lay on your side molded in the shape of her body. Think of 2 spoons laying sideways directly fitting into each other.
The use of pillows will help immensely.
Above all else, be cautious when proceeding with intercourse. DO NOT be aggressive. Take your time and do it right. Again be cognitive of her needs and how her body is reacting.
GOOD LUCK!!!

Unborn babies can`t be harmed during sex so don`t worry , the only time i know for sure when it is better to abstain is if a woman has miscarried previously or if there is any bleeding at all during the pregnancy ( spotting) Other than that its all good ... Later on you may have to change postions etc to keep your wife comfortable ...
Congratulations ..

B has given the best answer, give him 10 points. spooning always worked for me and my hubby. This early there really should be no difference in how you make love. As her pregnancy progresses though intercourse may cause braxton hicks contractions and you may have to prepare to just quit in the middle of if it gets to uncomfortable. But like B said, just ask her how she's doing the whole way through and you'll do fine.

I would say i think about it every 8 seconds, like i slip off into a fantasy and do get aroused but not enough for anyone to notice...i try to control myself to a certain extent but do find myself rocking backwards and forwards lol Then i'll suddenly be asked a question and won't have a clue what we're talking about.

Unless she has had any bleeding its completley safe. If theres been bleeding they suggest you wait until after 12 weeks.
Theres no reason at all to stop having sex the whole way through.
Good luck and congratulations on the pregnancy. xxx

you can have it all the way up till the day her water breaks. I was scared of hurting the baby also when i was pregnant so i asked my obgyn about it and they told me as long as my water haddent broken i could have sex with my husband. if your water breakes they said infection will harm the baby . they said that the sperm could cause an infection if the water broke. the obgyn encouriged me to have sex with my hubby they just said that when my tummy got bigger we would have to find new positions cause of the big belly. i hope i answered your question for you

It is perfectly safe, yes. The only time you need to worry about sex during pregnancy is if her OBGYN tells you to abstain.
