yup certainly you could take pics from your web cam...
1st
does your webcam has an installer maybe it has an additional software for installation for your picture clips.. if it does not have, so it means its only a "driver"

try going to the webcam's properties.. goto my computer..
your webcam will be seen there right click on the icon of your webcam then find the settings try setting the destination of where to save your pic... but there are may kinds of cams so setting layout may differ..

if you really want to take a picture of your self.. just run your webcam if you can see your self on the screen just

PRESS HOLD (ctrl + printscreen button) found on your keyboard
then go to MS-paintbrush
start button>programs>accessories>paint.

when your MS-paint is running
Press HOLD (ctrl + V)
or just right lick on the windowpane on the MS-paint and select PASTE

then crop your pics... by using the cropping tool...
is just a matter of
copying and pasting

MS paintbrush is not hard to use even grade1 can use it why not YOU

OK.. have a nice day.. ('',)

There should be a program that came with the web cam. Open up the program and take a look you should be able to see what you want, it's not a big program.

some webcams incorporate what's referred to as an "gruesome-sensor". If the image purpose is "too gruesome" it won't allow you to take a image interior the pastime of no longer harming different's eyes. there is a thank you to coach this sensor off interior the settings decision below equipment. solid success!
