i guess you should study here only and not waste time going there , it will take you lots of time to adjust there and know how the studies go on there so i sujjest you to stay here only and i dont think so that studies in india are so bad anyways its your wish but if u really wish to go then wait to finish your 12th and then go.all the best for your future.

see the system we have here is is of a high school system. High school consists of grades 9-12. Contrasting the indian system where the two most critical years are 10th and 12th, the three most critical years are 10th,, 11th (esp hard) and the first semester of 12th. All of our Junior (11th) year is attributed to giving the big tests, like the SAT, ACT, SAT II's and AP exams, plus building up our college applications, getting scholarships, internships, and an outragiously huge Grade point average (GPA) In the fall semester of our senior (12th) year, we apply to colleges, both in state and out...by the spring semester, we have an idea of where we are going to college depending on our majors and undergrads....my reccommendation would be to wait until after your 12th grade to come here to study so you will be an incoming college freshman just like all the students here. if you transfer over now, frankly, you will be screwing yourself over to get into college because your records and applications will be all over the place...

I think you will have to wait till you finish your 12th and then go for undergrads. Undergrads are very expensive unless you get a scholarship. Also, be sure of the university.
You can go to www.desiexpats.com
Its about Indians from all over the world coming together to share their experiences, advice, views on various topics like education, bollywood, food, etc.
Your question will be answered by Indians who have or are actually pursuing their undergrads in the US and that will give you a clearer view of education abroad.
Good luck!

Complete your 11th standard first. Or else, if you really need to go asap then, if you have your 10th standard certificate, its more than enough.

You can select your school in the respective city you live in america, then go to their office and enquire which course is suitable for you to pursue.

Then join for it, pay for it. Study well, study until you get PG degree and or Phd maybe, in america.

All the best!

You will lose one year if you go now: but still it is worth it, if you have adequate support in USA, from close relatives. Earlier start will help you to settle down well and do very well later in life!

Apply for university here - going to high school here would be a waste of time.
