I thought the water must come out first. But it came out whole with the fetus inside. How will i know if it was complete?

Well if the fetus was inside it was complete. Where did you have this abortion? In a shopping mall? If the medical attendants were concerned they would have taken care of whatever problem there was.

You will have to get a check up. It will take a couple weeks for your levels to go down. This takes about four weeks for that to happen. They can also do a ultrasound to see if they can see anything in there.

Tully is wrong...... they don't suck they scrap the lining of your uterus. This "sometimes" need to be repeated. But your more likely to have some still in you than not having a D&C. I have had two myself and one was because they was stuff growing from a miscarriage that was not complete. It was rare and my ulterus was the size of a 5 month pregnancy. I almost died because my body could not release it because it was growing and feeding from my ulterus(stuck to it). The growth was from me not having a D&C and thinking that it was incomplete. I went into labor and everytime I had a contraction there came a rush of blood from all of it pushing down together. They formed in the shape of grape but filled the ulterus like I was really 5 months pregnant. Be carefull and MAKE SURE it's all out by checking with you doctor.

Also with Clinic abortion Tully they don't let you see the baby so she wouldn't know what it looked like. So more than likely she took the pill that lets you abort at home. You have slight contraction but not strong like real ones. But to You with taking the pill, make sure you take the pill after so you dont get an infection. If you have to change a pad every two hours you should see a doctor.... they say every hour but be safe and I hope someone is supporting you and you are not alone during this time! That would be very unsafe.

The water does not have to break for you to have a complete abortion - esspecially if you were not very far along when you had it done.

I had a miscarriage when I was 7 weeks pregnant, and I passed the complete sac.

If you had a D&C, you can be sure that they got everything. Just make sure you follow any instructions they gave you.
