yeah maybe a lot of people around you but did you ever get recognize?? did you ever get attention?? did somebody ever listen to your choice??
that is make you lonely.. just take some short vacation with your husband only.. or just girls night out with your girlfriend...
or maybe just "special"dinner date with your sons alone..
you will feel different i guess

Hi Jenny, I don't know exactly why you feel lonely but what are your relationships like with those around you? Are you and your husband good friends, do you talk and share how you feel with each other, do you feel he is encouraging and supportive of you. Do you have close girlfriends that you can be yourself with and have fun with? Is your relationship with your parents and siblings close? All those things go into making a person feel loved and fulfilled. Sometimes (and I'm speaking from experience) we can get on the treadmill or being a mother, wife, sister, daughter, employee, busy busy busy and living life but not actually try and develop and make better the relationships that matter to us. I have gone through times when I've felt incredibly lonely and its because I've felt like nobody really knows the real me. They know the wife, mother etc etc but does anyone really know who I am? I felt like I kept giving out and I was running out of 'me' I needed something back and I achieved that by building the relationships I had. I really hope this helps.

I've gone through this myself from time to time. We do get caught up in all of our roles and we forget that sometimes we just need to do something for ourselves. Choose something you enjoy and make time for it. You need to live for yourself too. If the feeling persists look at your relationships with people in your life. Is there any one that has become a negative drain on you? Anything unresolved? Try and take a breather, a step back to see if this is just one of 'those' times or if there is a serious issue that you need to address.

you want a daughter? you haven't been communicating with your husband? you haven't been meeting up with your friends? you need to socialize, whether at home or outside :)

why don't you sign up to something you've always wanted to try? it could be dancing, learning a language, playing the piano, learning how to grow plants, a seminar, etc. make some friends, spice up your life, start doing things you usually don't do, and think of others first :D

i'm sure if you do any of the above, you'll start having a life...

I know the feeling. You're in a relationship and you feel unfullfilled. You're probaly wanting an online romance too. This happens alot. You're not alone.
