Why would they make cannabis illegal when it makes people peace ful and mellow, while at the same time alcohol is legal and makes people volient and abusive and disrespectful to everything except them selves.

There are far worse things that people do that they should be prosecuted for. I don't see the sense in filling up our already overcrowded court systems and prisons with recreational pot smokers. Make it legal and the govt will lose more money than they would gain off of the taxes.

besides, if it feels good, it should probably be made illegal (note of sarcasm)

Alcohol doesn't make people violent and abusive...abusive violent people react when they drink alcohol. The main reason marijuana is illegal is for two reasons.
1) Wine (alcohol) is considered a christian sacrament so ...after the American laws like the decleration of independence and amendments (which were written on hemp paper) christian law started influencing the country's laws and according to Christan law hemp is of Satan. Even though the first bible was written on hemp paper.
2) Cotton farmers and Paper Companies pushed for the illegalization of hemp because it was easier to make and was competition for their industry.

If you read history it was used as medicine for centuries.The reason it is outlawed is the chemical and medical corp.cant patent it so they have no control on the market If they don't control it it comes under heavy fire

THC has long term effects that are destructive to a society. Sure, so does alcohol, but one legalized drug is bad enough.
