If there really were some sort of supernatural being, and if it created everything, then it would have created the microbes that kill and make ill. To rationalize this by saying it's some sort of "test" is faulty logic.

Maybe this is why I'm not a Christian, but if your "God" tests humanity by infecting tens of thousands of African newborns with HIV, taking peoples memories with Alzheimer's, and crushing millions with cancer, then I'll pass...if you say it's the work of Satan, then your committing to saying that your god isn't omnipotent, and I counter by asking how a being can create everything and yet not be omnipotent.

To better answer the question, though, if a being created disease then why would he want you to fight it? Is this some type of metaphysical game to entertain such a being? Is there a god that resembles the entity in the movie "Sphere"?

How about considering that it's all life and evolution, and that the viruses that kill us have as much right to survive as we do. Kill them if you can--it's evolution; survival of the fittest.

It would be perfectly fair to cure it, now i don't believe in god, but if he created everything, he created disease, it is just another life form. He also would have given us the ability to save ourselves, through free choice. So really, everyone that gets a disease is struck by god with disease and everyone that is cured is equaly saved by god. Everything you do is within his will because he gives you the freedom to do it.

Well I personally don't believe God would command a disease on any man. We are taught that we're all Gods children and to help thy neighbor. It says everyone is your brother or sister in the lord and we are to help each other. To cure someone, If your in the medical field and have proper training, no where in the bible does it say to hold back and not help 100%. Personally I think people cling on to the saying "well it was God's will" because it's easier for them to deal with everything that's going on. God does not wish harm in any form on us. That is clearly stated in the bible that it's satan's work and not from the lord

God made disease and all things that are bad to bring us to him, called are crosses to bear, Gods tests you. If you were blessed with the way to cure someone you have the blessing so you could cure them. Always remember that when you see a person that needs help, could be an angel to test you. Remember the true riches are in heaven, not on earth.
God would want you to do whatever you could to cure or help anyone or anything

If you are able to cure a man, it would be through God's grace. Therefore you, yourself would not be interfering with the Lord. God would be allowing you to be able to help this man.

God bless you.

You are the Creator of your World. There is no God as you have been brained washed to believe.
Karma is a law of lfe. You generate your own dis-ease through your feelings and thoughts.
Accept responsibility for your actions and if you do not like what you have created then change it.
Healing is a tricky business. You can not heal anyone since you are not the 'cause' of one's dis-ease. If you have not been directed by the "small still voice" within your heart to assist you better stay out of the individual karmic affairs.

Believe me, when God strikes none can interfere anyway.

No you have to help yourself so as God to help you- respectively you should help others so as they to be helped by god.

You cannot stay adrift and await for him to do all the work for you right? :)
