It depends. There are benefits to both. In general, most art films are better than most blockbusters, but my favourite movie of all time was the one of the first blockbusters ever filmed. (You have to guess it...)

The art film no contest. At least your getting some culture. With the blockbuster, all you get are explosions, half naked women and a bad story.

It depends on your stage of mind if you are stressed, tired and wana to revive yourself you must go for a block buster afterall we have to enjoy with the mass. If we are free and have some time to think and understand the pain of other people we must go for a sole satisfying Art Film. It depends to our requirement only is it for our body to respond or our mind and sole.
