I'll consult my pharmacist tomorrow, but any advice or knowledge would be helpful.

Can anyone go into more detail about the size of the pill? Are there any mints or candies of a similar size? (and thanks already for the reassurance)

Put it in a small bit of food and swallow it, theyre very small so theyre not hard to swallow or take a mouth full of water while its in your mouth and swallow the whole thing. Dont think about the fact its a pill think about it as though its food or a drink just not a pill always helps me.

you should always take pills as you're supposed to. Some for example should be disolved under the tongue, because stomach acid makes them ineffective. I've got no idea if the morning after pill needs to be swallowed/chewed/disolved or what, so i'm afraid I can't help you in that respect, but I just wanted to point that out.

You can also get an iud put in as emergency contraceptive up to 5 days after sex, which may be another option you could consider.

I suppose it might depend on why you can't swallow pills.
Perhaps you can crush the pill and dilute it in water or juice? Or maybe you can swallow it with a scoop of ice cream or pudding or apple sauce to make it go down easier. I have to give my little sister meds each day, and she'll take hers only with a spritz of whip cream in a tea spoon. Good luck.
