Yes, and the oxygen that the candles burn results in all the protesters suffering from lack of oxygen in the blood stream thereby starving the brain cells of needed oxygen resulting in permanent brain damage to the protesters. That is why the older the protester, and the more protest they have attended, the more brain dead they are.

No. CO2 is taken up instantly by growing plant life. Land and sea. 85% if the earth surface is water. So most of the CO2 is taken up by sea plants.
