If you took every woman on the planet and plotted their heights on a binomial distribution, the ones over 6 ft. tall would fall into the very extreme tail of the distribution curve area. The answer is probably yes.

Not like they used to be. I have a niece and a grand niece that are both 6 foot tall. Their father and grandfather comes from a family of very tall people, so it stands to reason that their children would be tall also.
