Honey, you don't need to force yourself. You're eating and that's good. Just take your vitamin and make sure that you do eat something. It will probably pass, and you'll want to eat again. Trust me, the baby will not starve as long as you eat something.

A woman can experience many different symptoms in each trimester. What you read could be happening to you exactly while you read it or just the exact opposite. a woman could be eating very little in her 1st trimester due to morning sickness and sensitivity to certain smells, or no morning sickness at all and a very hearty appetite. For the second trimester, it's true once again. Your appetite could gradually increase from the 1st or decrease. The most important thing is that you EAT!! It is extremely important for baby to get their nutrients to grow and develop healthy. You should be eating healthy veggies, carbs, meats, dairys and some fats in small portioned meals through out the day. Purchase the number one maternity book sold over 12 million copies. You have to figure out ways to get your nutrition, but I had appetite problems the whole time I was expecting my daughter. The only thing I could imagine eating was mashed potato from KFC, and that, obviously, isn't a good diet to have when expecting a baby.
On top of that, the prenatal vitamins made me violently ill as well!!
I ended up taking them every other day and doing my best to find ways to get something decent in terms of nutrition.
Its a challenge, but - yes - there's a point where you have to think of something that will get you some nutrition and just get it down.
Milk (even if you flavor it), cheese, and peas are some things that aren't too "harsh" and that are good. You may have to stick to vegetables that are "easier" rather than some of the "stronger" ones. Eggs scrambled with milk to be fluffy or (not as ideal) pudding made with milk (maybe vanilla?) is another way to get the milk in for some people.

Just make sure what little you do eat is well balanced. Be sure to tell your doctor about this at your next check up. If you have any new symptoms call your doctor's office for an earlier appointment.

You need to eat. period. Maybe you should talk to your doctor. I wouldn't force yourself to eat, that might make you sick. Just eat healthy and balance it....more like 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big meals.
