My son was walking on the grass and a drunk driver came by and killed him and was found laying on the grass 12 hours later. The drunk was caught because he ran into taco bell after wards. Even though would not make me unhappy if he went to jail. I figure that my life would not change no matter what happened to him, My son was gone forever. But if I live my life to want him in jail. Then I really get punished even .more. Would be letting the drunk control my life, and thus would change my life. He is in Jail but not because i lived my life to get him there. Is there because right after pleading guilty went out and got drunk again.

The hardest of all is one`s ego.
I am not sure if people ,particularly the young, understand the full meaning of Ego. Generally the western thoughts say that one has to have ego and self esteem to get along , in this world.
The real Ego is that which constantly tells you that you are doing everything. "I am this. I am that. I am ...I am..... " is the constant urge within .
In the eastern philosophy it is said that Ego is the root cause for all miseries in life. It is this ego that is so difficult to let go.

My mistakes, specifically the ones that hurt the people I loved. Even if you had their forgiveness, then overcame the condition/s that moved you to make those mistakes, and even when you understood your rational at the time. Letting go of the shame and guilt, that was the hardest thing for me personally.

When u're falling for someone, and u knew u're better off with that person, but the fact that everythg that revolves around you is always getting to your sleeves and slowly taking you away from that special someone, and eventually you have to tell that person to let go, since you always found yourself in situations where you're unable to spend time with that special person of yours. by all means, ure letting go the love of ur life. its the hardest thing i guess.

Hi Saphire Aurora ! (And also Samlyn Josfyn)
I feel sorry for answers like Unconvincable's who really seems to be what he calls himself. And very respectless.
It seems he didn´t even understand what´s going on.
Even though :
I could put quite a long list of things I had to let go, but resuming I guess it´s all our attachments to our supposed I ("Ego"), wordly things, pleasures and relationships that cost us a lot.
If we understood that none of it all existed outside of our mind, it would be so much easier to manage our lives.
I wish you all the best !
Receive best wishes from Xalapa, México.
Christian.

Since 'letting go' only applies to things which are not beneficial to the individual it is never difficult to 'let go' if you love yourself. Matter of fact is is FUN once you experience the Freedom gained

My first dog. I know it seems silly... but he was the one who listened to me as a teenager, my quiet, non judgmental friend. The one who showed me the honor and dignity of loyalty and love even if it wasn't easy. I'll always miss him... and will always regret that I had to make the choice I did to end his suffering. But even then he taught me something. Unselfish love and sacrifice.

Puking when I read: "Whatever is not as 'part, whole, equivalence, uniqueness, limit, link, sensation, influence, derivative, origin, condition, rule, intent, and fulfillment' "
She writes that same thing in all her replies. How unoriginal.
