I figure that since YOU made the child along with your ex, YOU owe at least HALF of the cost of raising the child. And what do you mean now you know why there are so many single mothers? there are because married men like you who apparently do not want to accept the responsibility for their children. I guess you are a single dad, and there are a lot of those, too. grow up!

I think there are so many single mothers out there because there are obviously alot of fathers out there that can't or won't take responsibility for their children, people don't chose to be single parents for financial gain ( or most of them anyway). I do however have an issue with alimony, why can't she support herself?? Child support YES, Alimony NO!

May I just say that not all fathers/ex husbands hold up to what you are doing. Mine sure didn't. And all he had to do was pay child support.

So don't think that when you hear the term "single mother" that she is getting everything like what your ex- wife is getting. Because I sure didn't.

Yeah, the father's do get screwed in a lot of cases. But most of the time it's for the good of the child.
