Have you two been tested for any past STD's . Love is one thing but something coming up later and that will kill the relationship fast and/or kill you if it is an STD that might actully kill both of you.

With that there are a few over the counter birth controlls that might work for a short time. Sponges. Foams things like that. If you dont feel comfortable looking things over at a drug store you can get online and look up things and they will tell you there % of ssaftyness.

Remember NO BIRTH CONTOLL of 100% safe. CONDOMS are the ONLY ones that are 'safer' for preventing STD's .

PLEASE BE CAREFULL and Good Luck.

Many people says that condom is the "best" way not to conceive a child and thats true it is because it catch the sperm cell that is released from the man, not allowing them to reach the egg which is from a woman. Many couples dont want to use condom because of the feeling of thickness within and the feeling of unsatisfaction after reaching the climax or the orgasm.
One of the best way of contraception as far as i know is Calendar Method wherein you will calculate the day of your fertility and the day of your ovulation. Let me discuss this to you.

In calendar method you must know the days of your menstrual cycle for the past 6 months. This starts from the day of your first day menstrual period and last before the day of your next menstrual period.

Example: Your shortest menstrual Cycle for the past 6 months is 28 days. Then from here you will subtract 14 from the total number of days which is 28. Which means if your first day of menstruation for the month of January fails on January 1, so your ovulation period is January 14. this means that you can probably conceive from January 14 until January 19 which is 5 days after your assigned ovulation day. This is due to some egg cells may be mature between these days and if tehy meet the sperm cell they will fertilize and become a baby for the next few months.
Thus, from day 1 until day 13 and day 20 upto day 28 you are sterilize and about 95% chance of not having pregnancy.
hope this things can help you.

do you mean like, contraceptives like foams or sponges, or birth control like the pill? if you are looking for something you can use right before sex, try checking out the condom section in the parmacy. there are lots of different contraceptives other than condoms, and you can pick one that will be best for you and your partner. if thats not what you are looking for, i've heard you can get pregnant three months after not taking the pill...its sort of long term, but its always best to ask a dr about birth control pills and the long term effects.

Well...i would say dont have unprotected sex at anytime during or even a week before ovulation. On those days just use a condom or dont do it at all. Thats the only thing i can think of beside taking the pill.
