So, I recently read an interview on mugglenet....JKR said that you can figure out where one of the horcrux's are with a careful re-read of books 1-5. I think I've got it. It's the blocked secret passageway that leads out of Hogwarts on the fourth floor. It's mentioned several times and no one has said where, exactly, it leads to...only the general direction towards Hogsmeade. I've said many times that I think one of them is at Hogwarts, and of course, Harry has to get through some sort of maze or trial to get to it...so that would be perfect! Thoughts, anyone?

If the passage lead to Hogsmeade to the Hogshead bar and Alberforth works there as the barman....think of the possibilities!

That is exactly what I was thinking. Though I have other theoriess too.I was thinking maybe the Room of Requirement. But that isn't likely. Your theorie is much better than mine was though. I hadn't given it alot of thought due to me keeping occupied by reading Fan-fiction.

Okay, I'm not sure about that one, I have never really thought about it, though it is very possible. The young Tom Riddle knew more about the secret passage ways inside the school than most people, prehaps even the Weasley twins! It is a very logical assumption, that he has hiddin one of the Horcrux's there, I agree! I do have a theory about Slytherin's locket though. During Book 5, while cleaning out a cabinet at the Black house, the kids come across an old locket that wont open (obviously it had been damaged by something, or some one), And, R.A.B. can easily be Regelus Black (brother of Sirius), who was marked for death after going AWOL. Knowing that the Death-Eaters were going to kill him, he probably stowed it at his mother's place for safe keeping :p

yeah perhaps..truth is that i believe that harry owns most of the horcruxes because of his godfather's home. i think that most of them are in that place and that sirius' brother managed to destroy or save some of them. i dont know, i am so anxious to read it that all theories just sound possible right now and then again..i believe that jkr wont write something 'easy' that we will be able to figure out
