Yes. The higher the resolution, the better the quality of the picture becomes. However, there is a disadvantage to it, because the size of hard disk space needed to store the video file becomes larger as the resolution becomes higher. So there is a tradeoff that you need to think of. A low resolution video will have a bad picture quality but small file-size, while a high resolution video will have a good picture quality but large file-size.

Yes, higher is better for quality; although quality of a video clip can be impacted by bitrate; the resolution says 520 pixels across, 236 pixels down.

its the size of the frame along with its pixels.. the higher the resolution the more fine the video.. but it depends if your hardware(Videocard OR Built-in Vcard / Monitor) can support the level of resolution...
MORE resolution more CPU usage More Quality,
LESS resolution Less CPU usage LEss quality...
