I am only 15...this older guy(around 40) is a family friend(he is also a cop) I like him alot(as a friend) he is around a lot he eats with us almost every night....I talk to him a lot (actully important stuff) and I have trusted him with a lot.....well the problem is he makes me uncomfortable a lot he touches me alot....like for instance he was rubbing my thigh and got to close for comfort(but that only happend once) he also has grabbed my butt a couple of times(like lingering) I am kinda worried about it... he has said once that he wouldn't ever hurt me ( I don't know why he said it) is this somthing I should be worried about? I think he may have just accidently sliped and I could be making a somthing out of nothing.....
I was wondering what everyone else thought....(telling my mom and dad probly wouldn't help)...any advice would be appreciated

If a guy that age grabbed my daughter's butt or rubbed her thigh, I would beat him down so hard his kids would feel it. Cop or not. Be very careful here. Try not to be alone with him. Don't let anyone touch you in a way that makes you question their motive. Just because he's a cop doesn't mean anything. Don't be afraid to tell your parents if you are uncomfortable around him. I don't think they will be mad at you and they will probably make an effort to make you more safe. That's what your parents are there for. The guy may be completely innocent, but bad things happen to a lot of girls every day. Don't let yourself be in a place where something could happen to you. This cop could be a good guy, but don't trust anyone when it comes to sex. There are just as many bad guys as us good ones.

Yes...you should be worried just because someone is a police officer, the president, your teacher or just anything in general should not touch you. You are a minor. Don't keep this in, he may be doing it to other little girls! You can talk to your mom and dad but its hard to say if they would believe you. He told you that he would never hurt you because alot of people think that cops are here to protect and serve and they are always doing the right thing. Please dont be afraid to talk to someone. This is serious and can affect you. You are not making something out of nothing, you are thinking that because you are scared you might get into trouble and that is not the case.

You need to tell you parents. If they don't listen to you, then report him to the police, even though he is one, still report him. What he is doing is sexual abuse to a minor and he can be in big trouble. What you can also do is, go to the police station yourself and tell them the whole story. You need to be very careful if he comes around after you have done this.

He is hurting you already by his sexual conduct. That is something to worry about, yes. How could he slip when you said that he was 'rubbing your thigh'? When he touches you without your consent, he did it intentionally.

So go to the police station or call the teen hot line, they will tell you what to do.
