I'm a Scorpio guy myself, so I'll try to answer as best I can.

Yes, We're very shy about our feelings. And we all have different ways of hiding our true feelings. Most of it is a trust issue, we trust few people and telling you our true feelings is a big deal for us. I tend to hide my feelings through humor or just saying nothing at all. It sounds like this Scorpio hides them through anger.

Because he does care. He's just hesitant to put his feelings out there. He's not trying to lie to you, He's just trying to protect himself. We're sensitive people.

Again, he's just being hesitant and protecting himself. Just be honest and confront him with these questions. Let him know he can trust you.

Yes. Scorpio is not indecisive at all. We know exactly what we want. It's just hesitation. He's protecting himself. Hiding his emotions as you say.
So, how will you ever know the truth?
Just be patient. Scorpio is stubborn and you'll never be able to force anything out of us, it'll just make us more defensive. Just ask him about these things and let him know he can trust you. If he's still hiding his feelings after that, all you can do is be patient. Once he feels he can trust you to open up, he will. He obviously likes you, He just needs time.

I am going to answer your question in order:
Yes! Scorpio men are very shy when it comes to their feelings, they often use humor as an escape to show their true selves. It's a defense mechanism.
He would say that he doesn't care because, well, he does! Scorpio men are often enigmatic and are probably one of the deepest signs in the Zodiac. They are water signs and if you think of the ocean's depths - one can only wonder how deep the ocean is.
Scorpio's appreciate honesty, even though they are not the model of honesty all the time. I think the best route would be for you to confront him with all these facts. You should do it alone though, because they are sensitive and will become defensive in front of others.

Oh I know that the Scorpio men are very very jelous, I mean so are the women! But I know they are very open with their emotions! But then again, not everyone is the the same just because he/she was born on that sign! He might just be not open with his feelings, which this usually causes them to loose the person they LOVE, and thats when they learn something from it!
