If he is a good husband and he loves you, he won't even think about what it will mean to him, he will only care about you.
If it happened to my wife, I would start researching everything I could to help my wife.
A caring husband would never think anything bad about your situation, only about how he could comfort you when you need him to be there for you.

You should definitely tell your husband, especially if you haven't yet started a family but plan to do so as your condition is hereditary and could be passed to your children.
The bigger question I have is - after 6 years of marriage, why are you "afraid" to lean on your husband in what's very obviously a stressful and health-related situation?

Huh? Why on earth would you be scared to tell your husband? This is weird, dear. I assume that when you are going to numerous dental visits he will become suspicious something is going on. Is there that little trust and communication between you that you would not be able to tell him? Rhetorical. Sheesh!

Why would you be scared to tell your husband....for better or worse..remember. It is a bone condition, something that you didn't ask for or cause. Just be honest with him.

Of course you should tell him, he is your husband and deserves a right to know about it. I don't think he should be upset about it. He might just compliment you that you are getting new teeth. No biggie! (smile)

Your husband should be your biggest supporter. You should tell him. I am sure that he will love you no matter what since you both took the vows to love each other for better or for worse.

Teeth Smeeth...of course...he's your husband and I truly doubt he wouldn't be supportive. 8 teeth is better than 18 teeth! Just make sure you get a great set replaced!

yes its okay to tell him. I'm more worried about how you asked this question if your scared to tell him this how open are you with him in commuincatioin and just generally talking to him . this could huirt your marriage in the long run. try to be more yourself arond him and don't feel you have to hide things or not speak with him about things. 6 years oh my. you should be more comfortable wth him.

Of COURSE you should tell him! What are you afraid of? Sometimes in situations like this you have to just step back and ask yourself, "Ok, If the shoe was on the other foot, would I want to know? Would I love him ANY LESS for knowing or for him telling me?" The answer, hopefully, is an ASTOUNDING "YES" you would want to know, and "NO" you would not love him ANY LESS!!!=) KEEP IT REAL, HONEY...
