I wish I knew where I stood," Favre told Chris Mortensen in an interview that aired as ESPN's Sunday Conversation. "If I had to pick right now and make a decision, I would say I'm not coming back."
In the interview at his home in Mississippi, Favre told Mortensen he would like more time to decide whether to return for another NFL season. But he understands the Packers need to know soon to properly prepare for the NFL draft and other offseason personnel matters.
Still undecided...

Favre has not officially retired, he is mulling his future.
Word out of Green Bay is that GM Ted Thompson and Coach Mike Mccarthy are expecting him to come back for 2007.

I dont comprehend what proportion greater seasons he plans on enjoying yet you're way incorrect on one concern....he maximum actual will retire after this season a minimum of as quickly as and then pass interior the direction of the flexibility of "will he, wont he" till a minimum of two weeks into coaching camp. He has many information and needs to make beneficial he gadgets the quantity of circumstances retired checklist too! no longer attempting to disrespect what he has performed in case you're thinking....purely stating the glaring....he will retire a minimum of publicly a pair of times as quickly as the season ends....he's well-known with no opposite direction.

Brett Farve has not yet declared his retirement, but he still can and is expected to soon. Many think he will come back, many think he's done. It's a coinflip, but nothing has been decided.

Who knows? He should retire as he's useless now. Throws way too many INTs and gambles too much.
