I used to listen to 108 out of Cleveland, Ohio and they used to play it probably around 1980-1983. This is really driving me crazy cuz I LOVE that song and I can't get a copy of it anywhere!

No, you're talkin a remake I guess. Definitely at the latest early 1984. I met my husband that year and the song was out long before I met him.

Definitely not CREAM. I'm talkin in the days of Whodini and when Prince first started out. I don't listen to much of today's well 90's rap. I like real old school like "freaks come out at night", midnight starr. Oldies I guess. The lyrics I wrote are exact to the T -- The course, Dollar bill at least. CREAM is not that at all.

Cash Rules Everything Around Me (C.R.E.A.M.) by WuTang Clan. It was the 2nd single from their debut album Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). And the song came out in 1994...not 1983.
