For a 16 year old, your clothing sounds boring for your age... Do you feel that these clothes are original & express who you are & your specific style? Why not experiment with clothing & styles while you're young instead of trying to look classy & old.

Also, there is a difference between classy & boring. At 16 I knew a girl who definitely fit the definition of classy. She wore very expensive, tailored clothes but they were always colorful & flattering. Why not show some sense of fashion & wear colors that compliment your skin tone?

Your choice of clothing sounds more like a school uniform or as if you're going to an interview, only every day. Did your mother teach you to dress that way? Just curious. Why not break the mold & wear color? Class comes from knowledge & awareness, not wearing neutral colors.

Europeans do not dress dreary, as you've described. You're under the perception that all Europeans dress classy & all of them are more sophisticated. Get out there & learn about the real Europeans, not the t.v. & movie Europeans. Learn something before you attempt to be classy.

It's natural to be asked out when u r 16 and u r dressed-up like that, that happens to me as well!! try introducing some colours, trust me they make u feel fresh! 16 is a young age and i'm 16 as well, whenever i wear black too much all the family goes like whooo died!! black is very nice, but u need colours for a change. its ok not to wear high heels sometimes, even to work. low heels make u look a little more ur age, it doesnt mean that u r just a kid. dont worry about what u r wearing and just be confident unless u r uncomfortable! remember, u can dress up classy and sophisticated not just with black, grey, white and beige colours, u can invent ur own style with some colours. Good Luck!

To me, you dress rather conservatively. That is not a bad thing. However, to maybe liven up your wardrobe so that you don't look too mature for your age, you can add a little color. You can wear form fitted blouses with a hint of color with a nice pair a structured jeans or slacks to add style and sexiness but still look very classy. Also don't be afraid of patterns. Because you are tall an thin, like me, you can wear anything and look great.

I think you answered that with your last statement, but if that guy works in the same office then he should know that you are young if you're still in high school. You didn't say how old he is, but I'm assuming that he is out of high school. Nothing wrong with dressing professionally at the office, as long as they are aware of your age, but at school and other places you should dress like others your age or you could be asking for trouble.

You do not dress to maturely (unless ya want to!). Threre was a time when i ONLY wore black grey, and white. But there was also a long period of time when i was obsessing over bright colors like orange. Not all european designers make classy stuff ( like roberto cavalli, his stuff is like freaking CRAZY). And there is absolutely nothin wrong with dressing like that, be the trend SETTER, not follower. Do your thing! Be sides trends change fast and when they change to your style youll already have it.

I think it's great that you take such pride in what you wear. A lot of teenage girls who dress like slobs could learn from you. Guys, too. There's nothing wrong with dressing sophisticated/classy; I think it's cool.

it depends onthe person. those clothes are what you want to wear and part of your personality. you shouldn't need advice, but im giving it to you. i think you should keep dressing the way youare and if someone tells you you should change because you look bad(which im sure you don't) , tell them to get lost.
ps. i think sophisticated and classy is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than trashy and showy so rock on!

consider that you work in an office setting, you are dressed appropriately. i myself LOVE that look and i do work in a corp. environment. HOWEVER, i do know how to mix and match it up. but if you dress like that outside of work in school and on the weekends, yes you do dress more mature for your age. which btw nothin is wrong with that. depends in what you are looking to accomplish.
