It made England a World Power with the defeat of both Spain and France it was able to take the entire North American Continent and thus laid the foundations for the American Revolution by the need of the London Government to rule that continent. It Gave Britain India and the Trade Concessions in the far East that would make a world power.

Before the Seven Years War there was no British Empire Per say but afterwords there was.

Also called the French and Indian War here in the Western Hemisphere, Winston Churchill called it the first real world war as it emcompassed all the powers of Europe as well as various country's holdings here in the Western Hemisphere. The major outcome was that Britain became more powerful as it obtained land from France and Spain in this part of the world, including Canada. Also, after this, France was never a real threat to Great Britain again.
