No, if it is too long it shows you lack the ability to be concise
or worse yet, think you are more valuable than you really are and not likely to accept an offer even an employer goes through the time and trouble to interview you.
As exasperating as it is, you need to tailor your resume to suit the job you are applying for. If you have a lot of experience in various areas, prepare a concise resume that contains all of your experience then use it to create a cut-and-paste custom resume for the job you are interested in that displays your various skills.
Also, again, concisely, indicate in your cover letter what your strengths are, or "what can you bring to the party" that the other 200 applicants cannot.

Not usually. Unless they are asking for specific things. Employers like to see a very concise resume' and don't want to flip pages.
Consolidate your employment history by providing only location, title, and employment period. Offer more only if they ask. Credentials and degrees can be very brief. If you feel like adding more do it on a second page but be sure that all relevant info can be seen at a glance on the first.

Typically a resume 2 pages long is fine, for someone with lots of work experience. It might be a good idea to only list work history that is relevant if your resume gets too long.

It is OK if they all directly relate 2 the job u r applying 4 - just list them - don't give any details - & put an asterisk * @ the bottom of the list saying details are available upon request. this will usually shorten it up. Also dont have your name in a big size font - make it in a smaller font & these ideas will help.

This should be fine. Although most employers like the "one pager", two pages are considered completely acceptable. Some different formats may actually reduce it to one page, though.
