Skip the morphine. Dilaudid is the way to go! (Way stronger!)
I can give you a 2ml injection and it will be lights out... no pain for you.
Seriously... if people are getting upset over this... then wow!
Just having a morphine drip doesn't necessarily mean anything wrong!
As with any narcotic - your vital signs should be closely monitored. If your respirations are too few per minute than the medication would be withheld!
Don't get upset over people making fun of your question. Some people here just can't take a joke.
