Hello, I just heard about an adoption situation where the potential birthmother is planning to parent one baby and make an adoption plan for the other. This to me seems really, really sad that the babies can't stay together, and that such a very special bond will be broken. On the other hand I admire her for seeing and admitting that she is unable to parent two babies at this point of her life. I guess it's better for them to be separated and both have wonderful lives, then for them to remain in a situation that the Mom can't handle. Does anyone know of any psychological effects they may suffer from later in life due to this? What do you think?

Awe. i think its sad. I think that sibling bond is important especially twins. Her honesty is good but she can do visits well it will be hard for the child when they grow older, because she will have to break it to them and say. i got rid of your twin sibling because i could not take care of both of you. then the child would want to find their long lost twin. Its sad to know you losing a twin at such a young age and wont hear about them in about 2 decades or never.
